''God Is Abundant'' is the twenty second studio album by American country music artist, Connie Smith. The album was released in November 1973 on Columbia Records and was produced by George Richey. It was Smith's first album of Gospel music for the Columbia and her fourth Gospel album overall. == Background and release == ''God Is Abundant'' consisted of eleven new tracks record by Connie Smith. The album was recorded in 1973 at the Columbia Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. At Columbia, Smith was permitted to record more Gospel material, therefore, ''God Is Abundant'' was released in 1973. It contained cover versions of Dottie Rambo's "Remind Me Dear Lord," Porter Wagoner's "When I Sing for Him," Dolly Parton's "Golden Streets of Glory," and Kris Kristofferson's "Why Me."
